Following the legacy of the iconic Tech 10 and Tech 7, the new Alpinestars Tech 5 is an advanced motocross boot built with a multi-material, multi-panel construction. It is designed to strengthen Alpinestars' line-up of class-leading off-road boots. Incorporating an innovative, highly durable, and lightweight microfiber chassis, a medial biomechanical pivot system for superb support, and extended accordion flex zones, the Tech 5 delivers a performance fit with high levels of comfort and long-term durability.

The Tech 5 features a refined upper and core structure designed for flexibility, structural integrity, and ease of maintenance.

Durable Upper: The upper is crafted from innovative, abrasion-resistant microfiber, with synthetic polymer reinforcement on the toe box. This material offers high levels of water-resistance and improved weight-saving.
Easy Maintenance: The main microfiber material ensures a consistent fit and is exceptionally easy to maintain and clean, ensuring long-term usage.
Enhanced Flexibility: Redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones are made from lightweight microfiber for superior comfort, control, and support.
Structural Core: A contoured, advanced polymer core structure wraps the upper boot, providing structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing excellent, controlled flex.

Impact Protection: Features an anatomically profiled, high modulus polymer shin plate for superior impact and abrasion resistance.
Adjustable Fit: The contoured shin plate allows for a greater range of fitment and includes a Velcro® adjustable panel for a personalized and secure closure.
Biomechanical Support: The medial-facing biomechanical pivot system links the lower and upper sections of the boot, providing excellent front/rear flexibility and essential structural support.
Bike Grip: Both the inward-facing upper and lower panels use specifically formulated polymer with grip sculpture patterning for maximum bike contact and improved abrasion resistance.
Calf Guard: A rear TPR gaiter sits atop the TPU calf protector, enhancing both protection and comfort.

Innovative Buckle System: The closure system features polymer and fiberglass buckle arms with high-impact aluminum bridge closures for durability and weight-saving.
Quick Release Memory: The buckle system includes memory and a quick release/locking system with a self-aligning design for easy, precise closure and enhanced security. All buckles are easily replaceable.
Foot Shell Integrity: Features an innovative one-piece TPU injected dual compound foot shell for excellent impact and abrasion resistance. The shell is reinforced with an internal metal shank and co-injected toe reinforcement.
Exclusive Dual Compound Sole: The exclusive dual compound sole is seamlessly integrated, offering superior durability, optimal grip, and essential feel while riding. The sole is also fully replaceable.
Interior Comfort: Soft poly-foam padding surrounds the ankles and collar for shock-absorbing performance, complemented by a full interior textile lining.
Anatomic Footbed: Includes a replaceable anatomic EVA footbed with a textile lining for long-lasting comfort.
