Aluminum-backed pads are quiet and light while steel-backed pads offer the best value

Includes pins and springs

Sintered,  brake pads for Avid Code disc brakes. Metallic pads have more brake power and less wear compared to organic pads. Under wet conditions they tend to be more noisy. With sintered pads thermal stress on the brake is higher than with organic pads. With carriers​​

Metallic pads are a must have for Code Brakes.

The organic pads are OK for light use, switching to metallic made my brakes infinitely better. They hold up to wet conditions, bike park and all sorts of abuse
