Kask CAIPI Bicycle Helmets

To develop this helmet, KASK tested ten of the best road aero helmets in a wind tunnel and created a 3D scan for a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. Helmets were tested at various speeds and yaw angles to reflect cross winds; the resulting drag data showed savings of up to 6 watts at 50 kph versus top competitors. Aerodynamics is at the forefront of the design while ventilation was also a key factor, producing a helmet that performs in road racing, triathlon and high-speed efforts while helping keep the rider cool in all climates.

Built for adventure as well as speed, this helmet combines lightweight construction with active cooling and confident protection for off-road and mixed-terrain riding. It features numerous ventilation ports (22 individual ports), an integrated ventilated visor and an extended rear section with additional vents to protect and cool the back of the head down to the base of the skull. A neat peak shields from spray, trail debris and sun, while generous coverage meets the demands of trail use.

Comfort and fit are engineered for long days in the saddle: breathable, quick-dry padding includes a 5mm fast-wicking layer called Resistex* that moves moisture to the outer shell; thermoformed pads cradle the head; and KASK’s Octo Fit retention system plus an adjustable Custom Fit Divider on the strap enable precise, secure fit and improved safety. The result is a versatile cycling helmet that blends aerodynamic efficiency, exceptional ventilation, lightweight feel (≈250 g), and robust protection for year-round riding across road, race and trail disciplines.
