Core Tread Design for Hardpack Control

The tread pattern is meticulously engineered to provide predictable handling and powerful grip on firm surfaces.

• Angled In-Line Shoulder Studs: These studs promote predictable and indulgent transitions when leaning the bike over. Benefit: You can reach a high limit range safely and with confidence.

• Pronounced Positive Profile: Features a large number of contact areas on the center tread. Benefit: Delivers harmonious riding behavior and high grip on hard and slightly loose surfaces.

• Ramps for Speed: Pronounced ramps in the direction of rotation ensure harmonious and easy rolling. Benefit: Results in low rolling resistance and improved grip on hard surfaces.

Versatile Casing and Compound Options

The Kryptotal offers robust carcass construction that is impervious to damage and penetration. This tire can be used as Tubeless or with an inner tube (we recommend the use of our Revo-Sealant).

Casing Options

• Downhill: Our most durable and reinforced carcass construction in the Gravity line-up, built for extreme descending.

• Enduro: A durable single-ply carcass construction with Apex protection to prevent snakebites (pinch flats).

• Trail: A light and durable single-ply carcass construction, making it ideal for standard Trail use cases.

Compound Options

• SuperSoft: Especially for Downhill and Enduro descending where the main focus is 100% grip, traction, and control.

• Soft: Designed for descending-orientated use in the Trail and Enduro segments. It offers high levels of grip with reasonable rolling resistance. Excellent as a front-wheel-only option for increased grip in Trail and All-Mountain use.

• Endurance: This compound offers high durability and good rolling resistance by balancing grip and endurance.
