winter of our (dis)content

I'm in NYC. Like the rest of the country, we're getting hammered with snow, ice, and marginal roadways between storms. I'm fighting back. These Schwalbe Marathon Winter Plus are my weapon! I'm using them on a Specialized Creo SL e-bike, lol. It's a great match because I don't care that these tires are truck-like. They grip in any condition and give me the confidence to ride in these conditions. They get me out into the mix. I cross ice, slush, snow, greasy salt cover, and wet roads with extra confidence. They are not light, speedy, and delicious. No, they are heavy, spiky and delicious. Bomb proof. Butch. Beastly. HIghly recommended. Cheers.

Game changer for minnesota winters

As usual, the base tire is as good as ever. The addition of studs keeps me secure on the hard pack snow and glaze ice we are dealing with now. Good price. Fairley quick delivery.

Nice tire, good customer service

I have yet to test these on ice. On pavement, at a high psi, they're noisy, but not as bad as expected.

This is not a lightweight or responsive tire, but that's not what it's intended.

It should be noted that the manufacturer labels these as 28"x2.0" tires, but they are actually 29er's as the website lists. Movatik was very patient working with me to figure that out.
