Product Description

The Shimano 10-speed Ultegra cassette CS-6700 allows exact shifting, but without much effort. Shimano has even improved the accuracy of the gear selection by changing the sprocket design. Despite all its user-friendliness, the CS-6700 cassette guarantees maximum precision during shifts.

We'll tell you straight up that while we appreciate the appeal of Dura-Ace cassettes, we understand why you would choose Ultegra for your bike. Smart racers routinely save money by going with Ultegra cassettes; the money saved can go for other weight shaving measures. Shimano Ultegra CS-6700 Cassettes are lighter than their 6600 brothers, doing a nice job of closing the gap on Dura-Ace. The tallest cogs are riveted onto an aluminum carrier for weight savings, and they're more gentle on aluminum cassette bodies.

As good as it gets!

Like their chains, a little heavier than DuraAce, but last lots longer and are cheaper.
An excellent deal on great quality here, especially for those of us who will never compete in the Tour de France!

MOTAVIK for great prices, free shipping and genuine Shimano Ultegra parts

Ultegra is basically my favorite in the Shimano group set lineup it basically checks all the boxes, quality, durability and affordability. Also, I agree with the previous reviewer George Gilliland. I am a heavier rider, as 160 is basically a fly weight. I typically power up to 300w plus on Florida climbs and run chains easily to 2000 miles plus before changing them on these cassettes. Now, I always quickly lube and clean my chains before rides with Pro Link Gold ( I have 4 road runners in my fleet), and I always shift without grinding, as well as avoiding most cross chaining like COVID 19. With that said I am getting every bit of 7000 miles on these cassettes. Finally, I have a small parts department in my bedroom closet that keeps my fleet ready looking professionally maintained and to go KOM when I'm in the mood. So, yeah I decided to stock up on two of these babies, though I still have one in the box in my home inventory, The Price! The MOVATIK price was outstanding for these spanking new genuine Shimano Ultegra cassettes and was the best on the web. I also picked up four Conti GP 5000s at a super price as well, Oh that fresh rubber smell of those newly handmade tires from the German fatherland makes me recall the beautiful shimmering Danube and my time there with all the fair maidens of the Rhineland. Thanks MOTAVIK I'll be back....

The Benchmark for durability and Shifting precision

Nothing more to say. I’ve been using the Shimano 10-speed cassettes and chains for 15 years they never let me down. Assuming your’re a rider of average weight (~160lbs) and power (275W on hard climbs) and you pair it with the HG chain and change the chain every 1500 miles you can get 6000-9000 miles from this cassette. If you’re heavier or ride often in bad weather, change the chain every thousand. Enjoy. Thank-you Movatik for quick shipment.
