The Giro Eclipse Spherical is an elite road and gravel cycling helmet that seamlessly combines aerodynamic efficiency, aggressive airflow, and advanced rotational impact protection into a compact profile.

Best Use & Highlights

Engineered for high-speed road racing, crit courses, long gravel grinding sessions, and fast training rides. It features Giro's patented Spherical ball-and-socket design powered by Mips® to dissipate rotational impact forces, along with a dual-density EPS liner that manages both high- and low-speed impacts.

Ideal For

• Performance road cyclists, crit racers, and gravel endurance riders seeking maximum aerodynamic speed.
• Cyclists wanting top-tier Mips® rotational safety without sacrificing ventilation during hot climbs.
• Riders looking for a lightweight, compact helmet with easy one-handed fit adjustments and sunglasses docking.

Not Recommended For

• Downhill mountain biking or high-impact bike park gravity riding requiring full-face protection.
• Commuters seeking integrated magnetic eye shields or urban cap-style visors.
• BMX, dirt jumping, or skatepark riding requiring heavy-duty ABS hard-shell helmets.

Key Features

• Advanced Aerodynamic Design: Active Transform Air shaping streamlines airflow to significantly cut drag across various wind angles during fast-paced efforts.
• Maximum Wind Tunnel™ Cooling: 14 direct vents connected to deep internal air channels continuously draw fresh air across the scalp while venting heat out the rear.
• Roc Loc® 5 Air Fit System: Suspends the helmet slightly off the head to optimize airflow and allows precise single-handed vertical and tension adjustments.
• Antimicrobial Ionic+™ Padding: High-grade silver-based fabric wicks away sweat rapidly and prevents odor-causing bacteria buildup on long rides.
• Integrated Eyewear Docking: Rubberized front vent ports allow riders to securely park cycling sunglasses when not needed.
