Alpinestars Youth A-5 S Chest Protector Motorcycle Personal Care

The A-5 S V2 Youth Chest Protector is a cutting-edge safety solution for young riders. It features Level 2 CE/UKCA certified protection through the innovative Polyhedron Hybrid Technology, offering a perfect mix of high-impact resistance, flexibility, and maximum airflow.

Key Features

• Hybrid Ventilation System: 17% of the protector’s structure is made of ventilation apertures, perfectly aligned to channel heat away from the body.

• Adaptive Fit: Floating chest and back protectors combined with a flexible perimeter allow the armor to mold naturally to the rider's body.

• YNS Compatibility: Fully compatible with Youth Neck Supports (YNS) via a removable puck panel and elasticated pull tabs.

• Easy Maintenance: Both chest and back protectors are detachable from the base layer for convenient washing.

• V-Strap System: Integrated V-straps spread tightening force across a wider area of the back protector for a more secure and comfortable fit.

• Adjustable Components: Features adjustable shoulder straps and elastic upper arm straps to keep protectors firmly in place.

Superior Protection

• Ultra-Lightweight: This is the lightest CE Level 2 Chest Protector in its class, reducing fatigue without compromising safety.

• Chest Protector: Level 2 CE/UKCA certified (EN 1621-3:2018).

• Back Protector: Level 2 CE/UKCA certified adaptive viscoelastic material (EN 1621-2:2014).

• Shoulder Protectors: Level 1 CE/UKCA certified removable protectors (EN 1621-1:2012).

• Rib Guards: Contoured bio-foam guards provide essential coverage in critical side-impact zones.

Technical Construction

• Polyhedron Hybrid Technology: A dual-zone chest protector with a rigid central core and a soft, flexible compound perimeter.

• Perforated Impact Grid: An internal grid acts as a second line of defense while significantly enhancing airflow.

• Base Layer: Constructed from race-proven, breathable, and stretchable textiles for maximum comfort during intense riding.

• Viscoelastic Tech: High-performance viscoelastic material used in the back and shoulders ensures the protector remains flexible until the moment of impact.
