Alpinestars Sm3 Youth Solid Helmet Motorcycle Helmets

The all-new SM3 Youth Helmet is anatomically engineered specifically for youth and junior riders. Optimized for MX, Enduro, and Off-road use, it incorporates advanced technologies from Alpinestars' adult range to deliver an ideal blend of performance, protection, and comfort.

Key Features

• Advanced Shell Construction: Features a lightweight, thermo-injected shell using a special polymer blend.

• Variable Thickness Engineering: The shell is designed with varying degrees of thickness to optimize the balance between impact protection and weight.

• Size-Specific Shells: Available in three dedicated youth sizes: Youth Small (YS), Youth Medium (YM), and Youth Large (YL).

• Ultra-Lightweight Performance: * ECE Version: 1060g.

  • DOT Version: 1170g.

• Tailored Fitment: Crown and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses as spare parts to customize the fit.

• Growth Adaptation: YM and YL share the same EPS size, allowing a rider to upgrade an YM helmet to a YL size as they grow by simply changing the pads.

• Dedicated Small Fit: The Youth Small size features a smaller EPS specifically for very young riders (typically 3 to 4 years old).

Advanced Construction

• Multi-Density Inner Liner: Ensures the correct density in specific zones for superior impact absorption and reduced weight.

• Rotational Force Management: * A patented low-friction coating on the EPS liner acts as a slip plane.

  • Mimics the brain's cerebrospinal fluid to reduce rotational acceleration forces from oblique impacts.

• Superior Climate Control: * Maximized ventilation via 10 intake ports and 7 exhaust ports.

  • Aerodynamic visor designed to direct airflow into the intake ports.

• Safety Visor System: Patented visor release system releases with a pre-determined force to reduce neck strain during an impact.

• Sustainable Comfort: The comfort liner is constructed from recycled materials to reduce the environmental footprint.

• Integrated Hydration: Built-in channels for hydration tubes are integrated into the cheek pads.

Professional Protection & Standards

• Enhanced Chin Guard Protection: The structure and thickness of the chin area exceed standard homologation requirements for superior impact performance.

• Emergency Release System (ERS): Allows for the safe and easy removal of cheek pads while the helmet is still on the rider.

• Secure Retention: Features heavy-duty stainless steel D-rings for a secure and reliable fit.

• Global Certification: Fully conforms to both DOT certification and ECE 22.06 homologation for worldwide use.
