Giro Source Mips Bicycle Helmets

The Giro Source Mips® helmet delivers a powerful combination of advanced protection and high-level performance in a rugged, adventure-ready design. It is engineered for trail riders who demand deep coverage, exceptional cooling, and rock-solid durability for the most challenging rides.

Key Performance and Safety Innovations

This helmet is capably equipped for fun and adventure, integrating several benchmark technologies to enhance comfort and protection.

• Integrated Mips® Brain Protection System

  • All Giro helmets are designed to meet and exceed stringent safety standards.

  • The integrated system combines the Mips slip plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system (Roc Loc 5).

  • This seamless integration aims to reduce rotational forces that may be transferred to the rider's brain in certain impacts, while also enhancing overall fit and comfort.

• Superior Ventilation and Cooling

  • Features aggressive ventilation from 17 large vents coupled with deep internal channeling.

  • Utilizes the proprietary Wind Tunnel internal channeling system to thrust cool, fresh air over and around the rider's head.

  • Effectively forces heat and stale air out, keeping things cool even when the riding pace gets rowdy.

• Roc Loc® 5 Fit System

  • This is the industry benchmark for stability, adjustability, comfort, and weight savings.

  • Allows riders to easily custom-tune the fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet using a single hand.

  • It is lighter than comparable systems, providing the ultimate in secure, "skull-hugging" luxury.

• Tool-Free Adjustable Visor

  • Features a moto-style screw-in visor that is easily adjustable without the need for tools.

  • Offers plenty of vertical adjustment with indexed steps.

  • Includes a high position for conveniently staging goggles above your brow when they are not in use.

• Full Lower Hardbody™ Durability

  • Constructed using the In-Mold process, which permanently fuses a light-yet-tough polycarbonate shell to the foam liner.

  • The Hardbody design extends this protective wrap to the inside of the helmet, significantly enhancing durability and resistance to daily wear and tear.
