Bell Bike Super DH Spherical Bicycle Helmets

A downhill‑certified convertible helmet with a removable chin bar and Spherical Technology™, built for riders who need full‑face protection on descents and open‑face ventilation on climbs.

Best for

• Enduro and DH riders who want a helmet that switches between full‑face and open‑face modes.
• Cyclists who need ASTM‑certified chin‑bar protection for bike parks and steep terrain.
• Riders who use goggles and need a large, compatible eye port.
• Users who want advanced rotational‑impact protection powered by Mips.

Not ideal for

• Road cyclists who need a lightweight, highly ventilated road helmet.
• Riders who prefer a fixed full‑face helmet for maximum rigidity.
• Commuters who don’t need downhill‑level protection or a chin bar.

What this product does

The Super DH provides downhill‑level protection using Spherical Technology’s ball‑and‑socket design, which allows the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during certain impacts. The removable chin bar attaches without tools using a three‑step system, enabling quick transitions between climbing and descending. Overbrow Ventilation channels air across the head, while the Sweat Guide pad directs moisture away from eyewear. A breakaway camera mount, adjustable visor, and goggle‑friendly eye port support modern trail and DH riding setups.

Compatibility

• Certified for DH (ASTM F1952‑15), BMX (ASTM F2032‑15), and CPSC bicycle use.
• Compatible with goggles; large eye port accommodates most DH and enduro models.
• Camera‑ready with integrated breakaway mount (action cameras not included).
• Fits riders using Bell’s standard sizing (S/M/L depending on head circumference).
• Chin bar is specific to the Super DH and not interchangeable with other Bell models.
