KMC DLC 12 Speed Bicycle Chains

The KMC DLC 12 chain is designed for 12-speed MTB, road, gravel, and cyclocross drivetrains, featuring a titanium-carbon-nitride Diamond Like Coating (DLC) that creates an extremely hard surface to reduce friction, improve shifting performance, and extend drivetrain service life.

Best for

• 12-speed MTB, road, gravel, and cyclocross drivetrains
• Riders looking for reduced drivetrain friction and smooth chain operation
• Performance-focused drivetrains where shifting efficiency and durability are priorities
• Shimano and Campagnolo 12-speed systems

Not ideal for

• SRAM eTap drivetrains
• SRAM Flattop drivetrains
• Drivetrains requiring a different chain speed or specification

What this product does

The chain transfers pedaling power from the crankset to the cassette while supporting smooth and consistent shifting. Its DLC treatment creates an extremely hard surface that helps reduce friction and wear, while the extremely hard pins help provide an above-average service life for the drivetrain.
