Schwalbe Marathon Efficiency Pro Bicycle Tires

The Schwalbe MARATHON Efficiency is the fast touring tire for bikes and electric bikes. The name says it all: Schwalbe developed the MARATHON Efficiency as a super-efficient all-around tire for trekking bikes and electric bikes. The result is their fastest touring tire to date—a nimble yet robust companion for trips into nature that also keeps you moving in everyday life. You can choose between the best value in the Schwalbe lineup and maximum performance with the Marathon Efficiency PRO.

• Excellent puncture protection thanks to V-Guard and a three-layer carcass construction on the side wall
• Schwalbe’s fastest touring tire to date with low rolling resistance
• Increases range of rechargeable batteries for electric bikes thanks to the Addix Race Compound
• The marathon efficiency performs best on asphalt and paved dirt roads

Addix Race | This rubber compound offers extra grip at high cornering speeds, combined with long-lasting durability in e-bike use.

V-Guard | Puncture protection belt made of lightweight, cut-resistant high-tech fiber for race and touring tires.

ECE-R75 (E-50) | Tires with the ECE-R75 certification mark are approved for bikes traveling at speeds up to 50 km/h.

Fair Rubber | Schwalbe is the first tire manufacturer to use fair-trade rubber. For every kilogram of rubber, Schwalbe pays a Fair Rubber premium, which is used exclusively to improve the living conditions of smallholder farmers and their families.

Tubeless Ready (TLR) | Lower rolling resistance, more grip, high puncture resistance. The advantages of tubeless systems are well known. Tires with the TLR designation can be easily converted to the tubeless standard using sealant. Also suitable for hookless rims.
