What this product does

The Kortal Race Mips provides extended head coverage for trail and enduro riding while maintaining airflow across the helmet. Its ventilation design prevents a goggle strap from covering the ventilation ports, helping maintain cooling during high-effort riding.

The helmet combines multiple safety technologies designed to address different stages of an accident. Mips Integra provides rotational impact protection, the aramid bridges reinforce the helmet liner, and the breakaway peak is designed to detach during a crash to help reduce forces transferred to the neck.

Protection & Safety

• Mips Integra: Integrated rotational impact protection technology designed to enhance protection against rotational forces.
• Aramid Bridges: Molded into the helmet liner to enhance structural stability and improve penetration protection.
• Extended Protection: Extended coverage around the temples and rear of the head provides additional protection in key impact areas.
• Patented BreakAway Peak: The peak is designed to snap off during a crash to help enhance neck protection and reduce the chance of injury.
• RECCO® Reflector: Helps compatible rescue services locate the rider if something goes wrong in remote riding environments.
• Twiceme® NFC Medical ID: Stores medical information and emergency contact details that can be accessed by co-riders and first responders using compatible NFC technology.

Ventilation & Fit

• Uninterrupted Ventilation: The helmet is designed so that a goggle strap does not cover the ventilation ports.
• Adjustable Fit: The fully adjustable fit system allows the helmet to be customized for a secure and comfortable fit.
• Goggle Compatible: The adjustable peak can be raised to create space for storing goggles when they are not being worn.
• Eye Garage: Rear ventilation openings allow sunglasses to be securely stored when not in use.

E-Bike Compatibility

The Kortal Race Mips is certified to the Dutch NTA 8776 electric bicycle helmet standard, making it suitable for riders looking for a helmet specifically certified for e-bike use.

Additional Features

• Detachable Peak: The helmet peak can be removed when desired.
• Adjustable Peak: The peak can be raised to accommodate goggles when stored on the helmet.
• Goggle Compatibility: Designed to work with goggles while maintaining access to the helmet's ventilation.
• Sunglass Storage: Rear ventilation openings provide a secure storage location for sunglasses.
