Enduro Max 6001 Sealed Cartridge Bicycle Bearings

Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by employing with a special design where the maximum number of balls (full-complement) are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The race grooves are also deeper on these bearings to provide increased lateral support to counteract the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX-type, Black-Oxide, bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease inside and Black-Oxide/Magnetite treatment provides an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance.

This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands. The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating full labyrinth to provide long life and superior protection against the elements.
