Alpinestars Sm3 Youth Deegan Helmet Motorcycle Helmets

The all-new Alpinestars SM3 Youth Helmet is anatomically engineered specifically for younger riders. Optimized for MX, Enduro, and Off-road use, it adapts elite adult-level technologies to deliver the perfect blend of performance, protection, and comfort.

Key Features

• Advanced Shell Construction: Lightweight thermo-injected shell utilizing a special polymer blend with varying thickness for maximum impact protection.

• Precision Sizing: Available in three outer shell sizes: Youth Small (YS), Youth Medium (YM), and Youth Large (YL).

• Lightweight Performance: * ECE Weight: 1060g.

  • DOT Weight: 1170g.

• Dual-Certification Standards: Separate shell versions meet specific DOT and ECE requirements. The DOT version features a composite fiber layer for enhanced inner shell protection.

• Adaptive Growth System: Youth Medium and Youth Large share the same EPS size. This allows parents to reconfigure a YM helmet to a YL size as the child grows by simply changing the crown and cheek pads.

• Targeted Ergonomics: The Youth Small size features a dedicated, smaller EPS specifically designed for the anatomy of 3 to 4-year-old riders.

Advanced Construction

• Multi-Density Inner Liner: Strategically placed densities ensure optimal impact absorption while maintaining a lightweight profile.

• Oblique Impact Protection: Surfaces are engineered to minimize rotational forces during angled impacts.

• Low Friction Coating: A patented internal layer acts as a slip plane, mimicking the brain's natural cerebrospinal fluid to reduce rotational acceleration.

• Superior Ventilation: Features 10 intake ports and 7 exhaust ports for maximum airflow and heat exchange.

• Air-Flow Visor: Designed to funnel air directly into the ventilation ports.

• Patented Visor Release: Ensures the visor detaches with a pre-determined force, reducing potential neck strain during a crash.

• Eco-Friendly Liner: The comfort liner is crafted from recycled materials to lower the environmental carbon footprint.

• Performance Details: Includes integrated hydration tube channels and a soft 25mm textile chin strap for ultimate rider comfort.

Professional Protection

• Alpinestars New Safety Standard: Tested beyond standard homologation requirements, with an optimized chin area for superior impact resistance.

• Emergency Release System (ERS): Allows for the safe and easy removal of cheek pads while the helmet is still on the rider.

• Secure Fitment: Equipped with high-grade stainless steel D-rings for a tight, reliable closure.

• Global Compliance: Conforms to both DOT certification and ECE 22.06 homologation for worldwide use.
